Byotrol signs up to the Skills Pledge
10th Jul 2007Manchester based antimicrobial company Byotrol, has signed up to the Skills Pledge, a public pledge to train all staff, ensuring they have the skills needed to compete in the global workplace.
The Skills Pledge is a public and voluntary commitment made by employers to support all their employees to develop basic skills, including literacy and numeracy and work towards relevant, valuable qualifications to at least Level 2 (equivalent to five good GCSEs).
As a member of the Skills Pledge, Byotrol will ensure that all staff are skilled, competent and able to make a full contribution to the success of the organisation. Byotrol will also be able access the support and advice of a Skills Broker, one of a national network across England, managed and funded by the Learning and Skills Council through its Train to Gain service.

Byotrol products were first developed in 1999 when, following some remarkable results achieved in a speciality coatings research investigation; a project was started to develop a unique range of sanitizing products for industry, the home and the world around us.

Byotrol's products have been proven through a programme of independent testing to be effective for up to seven days after application and work against a wide range of micro-organisms. The products are non hazardous to humans, animals and plants and significantly the technology does not promote resistance in susceptible micro-organisms.
